Good morning - we have identified an issue with a 3rd party provider that may be preventing new card verification on Visa cards. Previously verified cards should still be accepted and processed correctly. We continue to work with our 3rd party to provide a resolution.

UPDATE: REPAY is planning to implementing an update to our routing rules configuration that will always approve the card validation transaction ($0 authorization) immediately for all Canadian merchants. This temporarily update will allow Merchants to continue with the transaction, without the need to make changes in their environment to disable card verification. Please contact REPAY support if you want this workaround disabled. Once the processor has resolved the issue, we will disable this work around for all. This update does NOT apply to any US based merchant.

Please note that a system upgrade will occur on the RAB system starting 12:00 am AZ (MDT) Saturday December 6th, ending before or by 12:30pm AZ (MDT). The RAB portal will be unavailable during this time. ACH Transactions will still process as submitted by merchants - financial integrity will remain intact.

Description

On Saturday, May 9, 2026, beginning at 9:00 PM EST and lasting up to two hours, the REPAY technology team will perform a maintenance release impacting select features within our Channels platform. During this window, some users may experience intermittent unavailability or degraded performance when using Real Time Account Lookup, eCash barcodes, and Emulator integration. We do not expect a full Channels outage, but these features may be unavailable for up to 30 minutes within the maintenance window.
